"Seinen Höhepunkt hatte der aussergewöhnliche Föhnsturm am frühen Sonntagmorgen (29.04.2012) mit Böenspitzen über 200 km/h auf dem Gütsch erreicht. In allen Föhntälern übertrafen die Böen die 100 km/h-Marke. Die Station Evionnaz im Unterwallis meldete 135 km/h, Meiringen im Haslital 146 km/h, Altdorf im Urnertal 129 km/h, Bad Ragaz im Rheintal 135 km/h. Wie bereits am Samstag erstreckte sich die Reichweite des Föhns bis weit ins Mittelland und zeitweise bis nach Schaffhausen."
