"I temporali erano attesi, nel pomeriggio di sabato, ma non ci si aspettava che, invece della pioggia, dal cielo cadessero chicchi di ghiaccio a quantità industriali. È successo a Lugano, dove attorno alle 18, sia in città che in periferia, si è assistito a una grandinata dalla violenza sorprendente, durata per diverse decine di minuti. Probabile dunque che oltre a un benvenuto refrigerio, il fenomeno naturale abbia prodotto anche qualche danno concreto."
